Leading up to their FA Cup match against Aston Villa, Tottenham faces severe injury challenges, with nine players, including Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur, sidelined. Frank mentioned Mohammed Kudus is expected to be out until after the March international break.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Tottenham nears completing a transfer for 18-year-old Souza from Santos for approximately â¬14.5 million. Personal terms are agreed upon, with just payment details pending. Souza, a promising prospect, has 38 appearances for Santos.
Currently 14th in the Premier League, Tottenham has managed only one victory in their last six games. They face Aston Villa in the FA Cup’s third round next, followed by league games against West Ham on January 17 and a Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund three days later.
